Truly great food: sashimi platter , flounder fish nigiri (insane), miso pork . Steak could be more tasty; cheese mochi dessert is weird. Nice venue and vibe, however eclectic service. Not cheap .

Insanely delicious sashimi . The other food on the menu is average or better, but the sashimi is perfect. Their house beer is delectable, light, & fruity . Very relaxed and authentic interior design .

Super cute Japanese-house-turned izakaya . Friendly staff , especially Mr. Good, whose passion for the place brought light to our evening. Check out the toy trains that move arnd every top of the hour!

Cozy & comfortable . Kind of between Taiwanese & Japanese, between restaurant and izakaya . Don't expect authentic food although this is in an old Japanese house. Roast strings, sake & dessert are good.

Cool izakaya setting, food was ok but not spectacular for the high price.

Taipei's best Japanese?

這家不是日料，是日風台料。對，是台灣菜日做。這麼來看其實蠻不錯的，特別是烤串和魚。如果你期待著日本料理，你的味蕾懂的正宗日本料理，來這裡會很失敗的。this place is Taiwanese Japanese food, it's inauthenticity tastes pretty good as long as you don't think Japanese.

捷運古亭站附近，餐廳在一間老房子裡，頗有 fu。餐點好吃，有生魚片、各式串燒、XO炒飯、炸雞塊、比目魚緣側握壽司、炸麻糬，啤酒、燒酎、柚子酒等等。來這裡不一定要吃正餐，晚上小酌喝一杯也是很不錯。
