Usually free. 3 floors of pretty decent curation of modernism and design. Kim Yong-Ik (father of Korean modernism). Was pretty great and well layed out. Also the cafe on the first flr. is good

서울시 유형문화재 제131호로 지정된 일민미술관 건물은 일제강점기인 1926년, 청계천 물길 옆 광화문을 마주한 대로변에 동아일보 사옥으로 지어졌습니다. 근대 르네상스양식을 표방한 지하1층 지상3층의 건축물로, 약 100년의 역사를 지닌 귀중한 문화유산입니다.
이 건물은 구 동아일보 사옥으로 1925년 9월 27일 착공되어 1926년 12월 10일 준공되었다. 이 건물은 르네상스풍이 일부 보이나, 양식주의에 구애됨이 없이 기능적인 외관을 가진다. 1963년에 동아방송이 개국되면서, 방송국용으로 6층을 증축하였으며, 용도변경계획에 따라 2001년 초 개보수를 착공하여 2002년에는 일민미술관으로 개관하였다.

The Cheonggye creek is great place. There is a stream, and you can enjoy natural environment. I used to go to this place in order to feel peaceful. - KeukHee Bang
