Confession: I don't care for tomatoes in sandwiches until I came here. Now I "get" it. The tomatoes add a really nice acidity to the meat and carb heavy sandwiches . The Rhode Islander was bomb.
Solid sandwich joint, hard to find outside of NYC, but they got their meats, bread and portions right. Go with Carmela's delight, can't lose.
Only open breakfast and lunch , Fridays in summer their BBQ ribs , 12 hour smoked, and handmade burgers and outdoor seating draw fans. Hole in the wall style spot.
