The Tavern

This is a very pleasant place to be. Good beer and very tasty burgers . The chips are nothing special though. I cannot say it was the best burger in my life but I would be glad to come back again.

Tasty burgers with cozy , authentic atmosphere. Portion sizes are good. Try the classic bacon-cheddar burger ! Bacon is just perfect and not over powering the dish.

It feels like being served a heart attack on a plate. Then you take a bite and know you'll die happy. They also serve beer from Cvikov - a really cool microbrew . Two thumbs up!

Great burgers and even greater fries (especially the jalapeño cheese fries ). Do not worry if you are a vegetarian , there is more than enough to choose from. Margaritas were not good though.

My second most favorite burger in Prague . Very "Czech-meets-American" feeling, great burgers . The Classic is perfect, so is the blue cheese one. If crowded , have your burger on the bar .

Fried chicken sandwich and the local burger were both great! Side of fries was a mix of regular, curly, and waffle fries ...must get the fry sauce ! Also had the raspberry Rita, which was delicious.

I had some kind of brunch burger (don’t remember the exact name) and it was super good! Nice crispy bacon . Service was great and prices are good as well . Totally recommend this place :)

Good "classic" burger in its best form. Tav cheeseburger is a bomb! They dont try to be super inovative and hipster , which is a big plus. Ps. Double portion of fries is too much for 2, trust me :)

The Tavern is a cozy and veggie friendly place with tasty burgers . Their own fries and sauces are very nice. Vegetarian burger with mushrooms is warmly recommended.

Really delicious burgers and when I say delicious, I mean great! Superb fries as well with onion rings in them. Fast & friendly service . Not that special interior but it's to everyone's taste.

Signature Blue Smoked Burger is absolutely mind-blowing; the best burger I've ever had! Chicken & waffles (from the brunch menu ) was very good too.

The burgers are the best in Prague. Been there many times and quality of service and food in simply excellent. Kindly recommend to make reservation in advance if the group is >3 people.

WHY THERE: burgers , friendly staff . BURGERS: tasty ones. LOCATION: outta mainstream, close to the lovely park (inconvenient for visits from other parts of Prague). PRICES: average (reasonable)

Great burger and fries - I always get a customized lokal. Two things - they only take cash & the burgers come fairly rare (I keep forgetting to ask for them to be cooked more as I prefer medium).

This place pretty much single-handedly started the Prague burger craze. Everyone wanted to be like them! With all the new options it's still hard to top the classic tavern burger .

I took my mum to have the Urban Garden burger . Even she loved it (absolutely a non-burger person). There is no better veggie burger ! Btw, you dont have to be a vegeterian (neather am i) to enjoy it

Very cozy and warm place. Definitely best burger in town . We tried different types but I think blue cheese signature is very plain, easy to eat and best.

Tough to get a seat as far as they don't make reservations throughout the week, but definetely very tasty burgers and amazing Easy rider beer by Nomad.

Best burgers in Czech Republic (for me). Better than Black Dog, Dish, Hadog, etc. Southern Chicken or the Ranch dressing are really TOP.

I had the Blue Cheese Burger and loved it! Don't bother with ordering a side dish - split a starter with your company. It's filling and there's a lot of it.
