I loved this zoo and the fact that it's free but they should consider capping the animals to just the ones they have now, since the animals shouldn't be in such small areas
Free admission and free parking . The lot is small though and there are not many animals to see. But they are those that were previously hurt/injured.
The sunken gardens near the zoo are really worth stopping at to walk around and see.
in the center is a beautiful water fountain that many people come to take pictures at.
You'll even see this blue dino at the entrance that is painted with faces of animals at the zoo .
The mastadon that was discovered while digging a man-made pool in the area in the 1930's.
I like this snake. Felt comfy in the bowl. Has nice colors.
Super cute zoo ! It’s small and free! You can walk it in about 30-45 minutes.
Nice, well kept paths linking the animal exhibits .
The visitor center has public bathrooms and some good exhibits inside.
even a few statues around each of the corners of the garden .
you'll also see two bald eagles across the way from the otter.
even a couple of alligators that looked a little bored, but well taken care of.
there also is a mountain lion (cougar) right after the otter.
Henry the buck has a statue at the end of the loop around of the zoo .
One of the first animals you will run into is this otter.
Wanna see a python? There are plenty of snakes in the reptile house.
Lots of animals that were injured and now have a home to take care of them for life.
Even an iguana that was pretty laid back and preferred to watch us.
here are the two of them together in the glass enclosure .
Good for a say trip. Zoo , parks , and lots of places for picnics and bbq 's.

Not a big place but free, and have decent amount of animals and reptiles . Did I say it is free!
Even the box turtles had Halloween decorations up!
it is hard to grow up next to Brookfield Zoo and not be a zoo snob when you go to other zoos . After 30 minutes, we were done seeing everything
It's free and has a park and tables to sit at its nics
The best free place to take the kids around here!
Bring your suits and lunch because the splash pad is open from 11 AM - 7 PM (seasonal).
