Across from Aliamanu, I grew up with Soon's! Still the best Meat Jhun on the island ... or anywhere! Everything is really tasty and portions are big. Just follow the aromatic smoke off Salt Lake Blvd.
I had a 3 hour layover in Honolulu so my friend and I decided to walk over to this restaurant from the airport . HOLY SMOKES! I'm so glad we did! This place is AWESOME! The food is fantastic.
I LOVED their BBQ chicken . Kalbi was good as well . First time I had meat Jun before and it was pretty good. You can get all 3 ordering Soon's special plate.
Bulgogi and bbq chicken here is best. The vegetable sides and dumplings were also surprisingly good too!
