Butcher and the Rye

Put this place on your list of must try places when in Pittsburgh. It starts with the bourbon which they know well and have a nice selection. A good menu that hits all the right notes.

We have wanted to come to this place for quiet some time and when we eventually did it didn't disappoint us! Great atmosphere, great service and even better food! Good selection of drinks as well !

Great spot for a date, fun ambiance and decor. We loved the focaccia bread , pig candy , the pappardelle , and wagyu flank steak . Highly recommend the old man winter cocktail if you like Rye Whiskey .

This place serves great cocktails . Don't be fooled by the label 'small' on the menu. These plates will give you plenty to eat. Sit at the bar to gaze at their amazing collection of whiskey .

Amazing! Pork candy and tartar are a must. Chicken and rabbit were delish for entrees. Burrata - perfect as a desert and great to share. Service and ambiance unbelievably good! Would return any time.

Great place for couples and groups. dry aged steak tartar and crab risotto sharing plates are delicious. For mains, you can’t go wrong with the steak !

One of the best places ive ever been by far. I loved the food and the drinks were very very good. I will most certainly come back for the same experience an enjoy a amazing evening.

Ridiculous selection of whiskey (750+), awesome decor and amazing food. Get the PB&J dessert if it's still on the menu.

The whiskey list is on an iPad mini because it's so extensive. That's awesome. You can go to grail.com to find their whiskey list online. Very unique cuisine options.

Quite possible my favorite meal in the road . The charcuterie board was amazing as was my main course of scallops . The dry aged steak tartar was incredible.

This place is amazing. The food and service are both amazing. I love the after hours special they offer. Great place to chill and enjoy food.

Make a reservation if you can - cocktails are fab but you will need lots of small plates to balance out the booze! Loved it!

The Mac N Cheese and Rosemary Focaccia were absolutely amazing! The Dirty Pasta was satisfying but it is more of a small plate versus a large.

The Brussels are to die for! The menu looks scary, but the food was awesome.

Skip the cocktails and go for a flight! Tell the bartenders what you're looking for so they can guide you.

The split floor balcony is the best, has its own bar and a great atmosphere.

Truffle polenta is amazing

Mac 'n' cheese and cocktails were insane. Awesome interior. Bathrooms are pretty awkward though.

The liqueur selection is great. I really like the one called world pool.

I work for toga he rips people off, especially the little people who are struggling. We agreed-upon $800 to clean all of his coolers, because I forgot one in the maze of the restaurant didn’t pay me.

I had a good meal here. Sat upstairs. Not much personal space, it's crammed. And it's also way too dark in there. Otherwise, I had a good steak .

price at $800 to clean like 47 coolers which is half off and the other company three days of work. I asked them for the payment because I needed to pay a bill. He said he has $100 call the police .
