One side of the Sloop has a mural of a fisherman that has been there since the 1980s. The other side of the building has a new Ryan Henry Ward mural . Be sure to check it out.

The Sloop! This place is worth visiting if you're in Ballard. You can "slooper-size" your domestic beers and get them served in BIG cold beer mugs. Interesting and colorful people here.

Definitely a dive bar . Interesting tavern set up. Plenty of bar games with pool and darts .

Order the Cranberry and Turkey Sandwich . Real turkey breast no sliced lunch meat here. Surprising good food for a divebar.

Great dive bar . I hear the food is decent. Nice service.

When you go the Sloop, tell the bartender that you want to "Slooper-size it!"

Basically, if you order anything other then a Slooper Size, you're a huge puss pants.
