Really really cool, the tour is worth it. Beautifully preserved Victorian mansion — most of it is original.
The tour was worth it and the staff were courteous. However, there is no mention of the owner’s history as a slave-owner. This history should be mentioned and not left to the visitor to ask…
I'm used to historical homes being fully restored, but was interested to learn about the work that is planned for this partially restored home - these people are dedicated and the home is gorgeous!
The volunteers are very knowledgeable . The mansion is high tech for 1860.
Visit this place around Christmas . Each room has a different decoration theme.
It's pretty on the outside but we couldn't go in cause they open pretty late on Sunday's. Entry costs $16 for adults.
Excellent stop. Short but beautiful. See a house from the 1860s.
Surprisingly fun and a good history lesson.
Beautiful. Not aloud to take pictures inside though. Friendly staff .
