Where sleazy "ambulance chaser" attorney-types + blue-collar workers collide for the singular reason of AMAZING+fresh seafood . Grilled/charbroiled anything is the BEEEEEST way to go... #eatitUP ????

There are TWO lines for ordering. The shorter one is usually on the right (closer to the soda fountain ) and snakes back towards the fresh fish counter. Also, they now take Visa and MasterCard .

The charbroiled Shrimp and Scallops is a must try. Never disappoints and you can get fries rice or green salad as your base. They are HUGE shrimp !!

Giant Shrimp & Scallop Combo with Garlic Butter . This is the best. Its charbroiled and comes with fries . I drench everything with the garlic butter and dig in.

The food is really good, amazing value for the price! Pretty crowded , but lines move very fast.

This is the place to eat sea food in L.A. The halibut is my wife's favorite. The clam chowder in a cold day hits the spot.

Fried Shrimp Platter AND Catfish Strips Platter, best of both worlds and will only set you back about $20. Well worth it, if you ask me.

Best lobster bisque ever! They now accept Visa/MC, but smarter to come with cash. Best on a warm, sunny day. Always fresh seafood ; it's shipped in daily.

Try the Sampler if unsure what to get. Crabcakes are genuine. Recommendable if you don't mind having to wait in line/having to mingle with crowd/having to yell out your order to override the noise.

Come before 11-11:30 on weekdays but Saturdays at this time are perfect. Any later and you hit the lunch crowd .

Not every place has to look fancy to make good food. A fish sandwich from here has become almost a mandatory part of Lent.

Come here with lots of time and patience because you'll be standing in long for awhile no matter what day of the week.

Charboiled Fish is done to perfection. Personally prefer these more than the fried fish . Always get the Sea Bass w/ Garlic Butter Sauce .. So EFFIN good!

Get the fisherman's gumbo . Only outdoor seating bring a jacket in case!

The fried fish plate is my favorite. Also great with scallops or shrimp . The swordfish with double coleslaw instead of fries , love it!

Watch out for one cashier that likes to play games by pretending you're not there, not ringing you up, then calling you out when your food is ready.

Super-fresh since it's across the street from mega seafood wharehouses where fish + sea creatures land in the deep-freeze straight from the port . Avoid the fried stuff on hot days

OMG - This place is amazing - they only accept cash so stop by the ATM . The Broiled giant scallops and prawns are amazing with Garlic butter . YUM!
