changed a lot. no longer the cozy throwback with corn beef and liver sandwiches . Loud music , young, quite arty crowd, has been stripped back to the brickwork like everything in Shoreditch .
Lovely little pub with friendly staff . Sometimes you get free crisps and the drinks are reasonably priced too.
Just my favourite boozer in Hoxton. SARNIES FOR £1 (Liver Sausage , cheese or ham ). Like pubs used to be before health and safety ruined everything. Great Shep beer .

Anachronistic, I feel like I've gone back to the 60s. Great beers , friendly staff , dart board .
Under new management. Not bad, quite nice really, but no longer the old Arthur with corn beef sandwiches , darts and sticky carpets.

Sandwiches have been priced at £1 since 1996 according to the landlord. They are excellent.

One of the best pubs in the area! Good music, ever changing guest beers, additional seating upstairs. Never too busy, great unpretentious crowd. Good little date spot too for a couple of drinks. - Emily-jane
