Down in the basement , close to the canal , listening to relaxing music and eating the superb French breakfast . That place made me regret I don't live in Utrecht.
If you go here, try to scone with cream cheese . It's not really an authentic place to go to - part of a chain, but still: good menu & friendly staff .
A bit on the pricey side but whatever you eat here is delicious. Their pastry is awesome. They also have beer and sandwiches for lunch .

We were there on a rainy day, we sat on the basement level where there were puddles on the floor. There were sparks coming from a cable near other table and a girl cried out. Never again.

Leuk voor een ontbijt/koffie/lunch met je ouders of vriendinnen. Echt een meisjes/vrouwen-zaakje met tierelantijntjes en taartjes . Maar kwaliteit is goed!
Ik hou van de Bakkerswinkel! Superklein en altijd vol maar heerlijke scones , wentelteefjes en taartjes . Ook de beste plek voor een high tea. Wel op tijd reserveren!
Best wel aardig, maar zeker geen negen. Lekker eten maar enig comfortabel zitten is 't niet.
De wentelteefjes van chocoladebriochebroodjes zijn echt heel erg lekker.
