Without a doubt my favorite bar in SF. Mostly regulars there any night, the tiny venue makes everyone friendly . James and Cassandra keep things constantly fun, upbeat, and well alchohol-ed.

The smallest bar west of Mississippi. Waiters are very friendly and great German beer is served (and kept cold in the bathtub behind the bar , don't ask.)

If you come on a Thursday night, and you stay late enough for the recycling guys to show up, you might get lucky enough to help pass the used bottles out of the bar . It's a lot more fun that it sounds

A properly San Francisco bar with a mix of neighbors, tourists and industry folk. Even though it might look dingy, the bathtub your beer is served out of is very clean and the food is home made .

Special place. They don’t have a fridge , they keep the beers in a bathtub with ice. There’s also just 6 seats. Said that, the place has character and the bartender is really nice. Worth to try

James the bartender keeps things upbeat. He even shot gunned a few beers with us. Definitely one of my most unique SF bar experiences.

Instantly feel like a local. It's the cutest hole in the wall I ever did see. Happy hour is a $1.00 off.

Every man should visit this bar , which requires men to give their seats to the ladies. And guess what, guys? There are more girls here because of it. Grab a chimay, she’ll like it too.

The bar staff are very friendly and gave us homemade cookies but the cockroach walking across the bar was a bit offputting.

The people. You cannot go to the Blackhorse and not meet someone and have a memorable time.

The tiny bar will seat barely ten, and the beer is kept cold in a ceramic bathtub , but the selection is first class , as is the company!
