The 15,990-acre Hickory Run State Park, Carbon County, lies in the western foothills of the Pocono Mountains. This large park has over 40 miles of hiking trails, three state park natural areas and miles of trout streams. Boulder Field, a striking boulder-strewn area, is a National Natural Landmark.

Though the campsites could be a bit more private and the trails between better maintained, this park with its access to several lovely waterfalls & a nearby boulder field is a great outdoor adventure
We love this campground ! Lots to explore, great sites, clean bathrooms . Everyone is so nice&Park rangers aren’t crazy.Highly populated with bears.I recommend visiting Hawk Falls & Boulder field !
Nice nature within just a few steps. No need to walk the entire trail . You will find a man-made waterfall .
