Nice hotel . Nice starbucks in the lobby, good place to go to the bathroom if you need to when you're downtown.

The valet guys are the best and take good care of you. They should offer free internet . Overall, it is a nice place to stay, is conveniently located and the staff is pleasantly helpful.

If Fayetteville Street (City Plaza area) is closed for a festival , enter the Marriott parking and valet from Lenoir St.

Survived an F3 Tornado hitting it while I was there with no major damage other than the back up generator. Staff was very courteous and did everything they could to make sure we were taken care of.

You COULD pay $4 for the water in your room. Or you can go to the gym on the 4th floor and refill your water bottle for free. Just saying...

New decor is very cold feeling and makes for an ultra controlling environment.

There are free apples in the fitness centre.

Lovely hotel of course, but there's no safe or mini-fridge in the rooms. I was shocked and extremely disappointed...

There is an issue with the internet where it gets data from you.

You have to pay for wifi but in room 1704, there's the citys wifi "downtown raleigh free wifi " :)

Nice place to stay for the Animazement convention . Right across the street.

Traveler beware. Don't confuse this Marriot City Center with the hotel with the same name in Durham.

The Marriot was a decent place to stay - simple and quaint with perfect access to restaurants and bars .

Very good place to stay- but Internet isn't free. Very nice location!!

They put the lobby in the middle of the bar . Poor design and makes it impossible to talk while checking in.

They don't validate parking even if you are staying here. So that kinda sucks.
