Service is always great. Very cozy and warm atmosphere. One of my fave restaurants . True local spot with classic French dishes done to perfection. French onion soup is delicious
Lunch is fantastic. The pre fixe menu is hard to beat. I went back three times over my week vacation in NYC because this place is THAT GOOD. Order a glass (or three) of rosé with your lunch .
A cozy and low-key spot with an incredible selection of tasty crepes , salads , soups , desserts and coffee . Their soups are truly out of this world! We love the Cream of Tomato and French onion soups .
I stumbled upon this place earlier this year. And what a find. Every time I'm in the city I make sure to stop. My favorite is the lasagna made with crepes . Divine. So are the burgers and the croques
Get the French onion soup . Cute French-feeling spot, good lighting, busy but not loud . Perfect for a quiet , affordable lunch after MoMa.
A classic French bistro menu with very kind and generous service. Cozy , with a dedicated base of local patrons.
The steak au poivre is not their strength. The steak does not stand on its own. You need to dip it in the sauce to get a tasty bite. The accompanying French fries on the hand, are addictive.
We had the prix fixe with fish and it was amazing. Service was slowish but it was a great little place for a dinner that was delicious but not expensive .
Came w 3 children and thought it would be a disaster but they were extremely accommodating and put on a movie on upstairs for us. Food was excellent - had the steak sandwich and French toast .
Le prix fixe , three course meal with bread and buttrt at a good price ($28), have the house wine too. Nice atmosphere and great service.
Incredible food, definitely authentic French food . So hard to choose between so many delicious options. Great lunch spot . Try the croque monsieur : a brasserie classic they do so well !
Best French restaurant in the U.S. Keep an eye out for Monsieur Picot down stairs. Get a Pre Fixe menu w some house wine & the chocolate mousse . The Soup a l'Oignon is the best you'll ever have.
Charming and quaint French bistro where you must try their Cobb Salad , topped with gorgonzola and cherry tomatoes or a bowl of their warmingly delicious Soupe A L’oignon.
Cozy , unpretentious, good food, well priced.
Hidden gem in the city . Best onion soup I've ever had. I buy bottles of the salad dressing . Ask for extra dressing and dip the bread into it. #noms
Hence the name, come for the soupe ! The Soupe a l'Oignon meal comes w/ a green salad , dessert & a beverage. The salad dressing is addicting as well as the fondue ! Seating is super cozy ...
This place is charming and cozy . Perfect for a drink and a quick bite . The croque madame was good but make sure to get the tarte tatin .
The French onion soup special is amazing and one of the best deals in the city - Soup , wine , salad , desert
Seriously one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten ???????????? (Steak Hache Au Fromage )
I can't believe it's taken me so long to finally go in. Authentic bistro fare at a great price. The best Cafe Au Lait & Tart Tartine outside of Paris
the filet mignon au poivre is excellent as is the French onion soup . Basically all the bistro food here is EXCELLENT.
Get the pre fixe menu with onion soup ! Amazing food and good price.
French Onion soup so yummy. I cant wait for dessert . The atmosphere and service are top quality ^^
If you order the price fixe and check in, you get a free glass of house wine
can’t go wrong. i’m especially a fan of the mussels and the Cobb salad .
One of my favorite spots on the planet. Everything is absolutely perfect. The lobster bisque and veal stew are delicieux et magnifique! Bon appetit!
The steak sandwich is awesome, the fries are delicious but the artichoke soup is straight up amazing! Perfect on a cold day.
Been going here since the mid-Nineties, and I STILL always order the same thing. For $18, you get French Onion Soup , salad , bread , dessert and a glass of wine . Very tough to beat. The cheese fondue is
Salads are dressed with a delicious mustard garlic vinegarette that you can take home for $10 a bottle. Bring the bottle back for $6.50 refills.
Their onion soup makes a 15 minute walk in a blizzard worthwhile.
the French onion soup - any soup here - is the best in the city . Downstairs is the place to sit.
A great jewel in midtown. French bistro fare without breaking the bank . The best cafe au lait I've ever had outside of France.
You can't go wrong with a cheese fondue and French onion soup and EVERYTHING
Great food and combo deals . House wine is good as well as the bread .
The Creme Brulee and the Onion Soup are a must! Also, the downstairs is cuter than the upstairs (where they seem to sit larger parties).
It's great place. Meals are delicious here. Must to eat here!))
Good spot for a lunch break when visiting MOMA. Go for the onion soup .
A great gem in Midtown. Classic bistro fare. The best Cafe Au Lait I've ever had outside of France.
the caesar salad is amazing. incredibly CRISP romaine hearts are sliced long-ways and served nearly whole.. maybe that's what makes it feel substantial. that or the fact that the salad is HUGE.
Great French onion soup (not too salty at all!) and really addictive horse radish salad dressing
Best french food this side of the Atlantic!! No reservations for 1 or 2 people but the wait is worth it.
The second floor seating by the windows is one of my favorites.
Cheese fondue and onion soup were really good!!!
Really good basic French home style food. The crepes are to die for. Latte is super small, skip it and try Starbucks around the corner, but don't skip the soups as a starter.
Authentic French bistro in heart of midtown
One of the cosiest Parisian like French restaurant in midtown. Awesome!
I've been going here for 25+ years - perfect meal = French Onion Soup & Filet Mignon Au Poivre - comes with a house salad (dressing is fantastic).
Some the best french onion soup and great steak au poivre .
Best French onion soup ever! Get the combination- it's the perfect meal with a great price, and the house wines are delicious!
Great French onion soup and the salads are large, super fresh and really tasty.
New on our winter menu...our popular cheesecake is topped with golden caramel and toasted walnuts for a creamy crunchy bite of perfection! - Le Relais de Venise L'Entrecôte
QB is authentic French. One of the best places to go for a fancy bite in the Theater District. Highly aesthetic design, excellent service, delicious food & cocktails. Great for pre/post theater dining - ℳ????????♍
Impressive collection, beautiful sculpture garden. All that you can hope for in a museum. The 5th floor cafe is pricey, but the food is very good and the view on the balcony is worth the price. - Kaisa Hernberg
Love going for aliey dance performances ????????seating is good wherever you sit - lisa
it 's one of the best places in NYC, and if you don't want to see a show there u can go to a visit, every day. You'll enjoy it very much. - Carlos G
