Legian Beach

Lovely waves to surf or just have a splash, with a shallow beach into the sea. Much cleaner than Kuta beach and more spacious than Seminyak's.

Nice long wide beach , not many tourists , high waves which are really fun. Enter the water between two red-orange flags, it should be relatively safe there. Cold drinks on the beach for good price.

Less crowded and the sun loungers are cheaper than down in Kuta. You also get hassled less by the vendors.

Great spot to breath the breeze in the morning & evening while eating and drinking balinese foods. Very relaxing place, we love it.

Paid 50k for chairs + 200k for 1.5 hour surf lesson and use of board for the rest of the day. Nice place to sit and watch, but too many people trying to sell stuff (sarong, sunglasses, ice cream , ...)

Swim BETWEEN the yellow and orange flags...it's safe there. Do not swim where there is a red flag...that means there is a current that will drag you out to sea!

please, the beach guards can be annoying sometimes, especially if you are not a surfer, they will whistle if u are swimming too deep.

More busy beach area but nice for surf beginners and those who want to watch some people. Get fruits and ask for Ani, she is the best!!!

I was so lucky to see this gorgeous sunset in a rainy season.

Great spot for sipping a cool drink and watching the sunset and people. Some also sell SanMig small bottles for 15K, same prices like small Bintang.

Nice beach . Alas, due to onshore wind, littered with refuse. Daily cleanup helps somewhat, but not totally.

Nice beach ...silence and clean better than Kuta

At high tide, expert surfers can take advantage of Kuta Beach’s long stretch of sand bar breaks to try multiple maneuvers in succession.

Swim in between red-yellow flags. Current is tolerable in these areas.
