The tip someone gave re: surcharges: not quite true; a surprise holiday surcharge at the til is illegal; having that day's higher prices clearly indicated on the menu (ie no surprises) is fine. :)

Actually, my latte and eggs benedict turned up real quick - no slow service here! My first use of their food side too (longtime bookshop patron though)

I love this place! My friend took me along because he knows my love for all things kitsch and classic & it didn't disappoint. Cinema 1 has chandeliers in the ceiling! Would make an excellent date spot - Leggy Voodoo
