Beautifully decorated and just 2 min off the M6. Much more a restaurant than a 'quick pub food ' stop and this is reflected in the menu prices, although we had tasty sandwiches (the only bar snack ).
Tomato soup was amazing! But generally a really nice pub with good food and staff . Well worth a visit.
Called in & told they’d have a table for us in 10 mins. 20 mins later they gave table away In mistake to people that just walked in & told us we could sit outside in the cold dark at 7pm in February!
Delicious food, freshly made . Fish pie is monstrous.
The food is great, huge portions and reasonable prices.
