I saw Orny Adams here and he was hilarious. It is really close to where I live and I love the Spectrum. You can get dinner close by before hand. Good evening out spot for a weekday.
New place is a thousand times better than the old spot. Better food, better service, better everything. 5 stars and two snaps up.

If you want hot food that hasn't sat under a heating lamp order something deep fried. No refills on soda , so the $9.99 "Bottomless soda " is a good deal , and you get to keep the glass.
A bit cramped and service is so so. Excellent lineup of comics though

Lots of parking. There is a good walk to get into the venue but the grounds are nice and clean with a good lil view of Irvine, always a good time at the Verizon Amphitheater. - Manuel Vasquez
When I went, the musical was a movie of a musical, which was interesting. Nice theater, part of UCI. Good spot to see shows. Affordable. - Holly W.

Seating outside is best, especially during the summer time. Reservations are key, especially for a Saturday evening (it gets very busy). Margaritas are a must, and for apps: queso and guac! - Tiffany Libman
