I believe November - December is the best time to come, not many butterflies.
Oh and park outside the entrance if you don't want to pay $10 and don't mind walking for 5 minutes
Go at low tide to travel farther and check out the saelife. Also, make an effort to pick up garbage, even if its not yours.
Not enormous amounts of butterflies yet (Nov 10), but still impressive starts of clusters with already thousands of butterflies.
when you get down to the observation deck just lie on your back and relax

We love the boardwalk. There is food places inside. (try the funnel cakes), nice restrooms, And some fun rides. Try the historical great dipper roller coaster. Its the 5th oldewr coaster. ???? - Chloe Wohlers
