Worth the ridiculously long wait ! Baked pork buns (to die for), steamed pork buns , Coffee pork ribs , Steamed clams in black bean sauce , Beef noodle roll and egg custard tart . Best dim sum in sf!
The $70 dinner special for four is a great deal. You get four entrees to choose from a list as well as the soup of the day and a choice of lobster "or" Peking Duck with 12 stemed "clamshell" buns .
This is an excellent restaurant for dim sum cravings. Some of the staff team members were friendly and attentive. Service and food quality were also very good. I also liked that the food is fresh.
Get there before 11:30 on weekends to save yourself some time. The shu mai and sweet and sour pork aren't great, but pretty much everything else is!
My holy grail dimsum place in the US! Baked pork buns are a must. Then get any dimsum dish with shrimp , which are chunky & juicy. Not the cheapest, but oh-so-worth-it????
SF Weekly’s Best Of 2012 Winner – Editorial Pick – Best Dim Sum . As much as this city loves its lines , there are few waits in San Francisco worth it. Mama’s: worth it. Flour + Water: worth it. Hong.. Read more
A little pricy for dim sum but portion size makes up for it. Recommend: turnip cake , salt and pepper chicken wings , scallop fried rice w egg whites and Chinese broccoli (off menu ).
Steamed black sesame balls ! I haven't seen them like this anywhere else: gritty sweet black sesame paste inside mochi dusted with something (ground nuts ?) and served warm. AMAZING.
Everything is great - hot from Kitchen as you order via the worksheets instead of roaming carts - while it is busy, it is worth it - big fan of the staples: Har Gow, Sui Mai, Steamed pork ribs , Turnip
Dim Sum was good- have to agree with the rest- baked pork buns were sweet and addictive.
Best dim sum in the city . The wait is so worth it. Don't miss the baked chashu bao !!
The green beans , eggplant , and pork bun dishes were ???? the dim sum was good but not the best I’ve had
Good measure of portion is 2-3 dishes per person. Tomago tofu is excellent!
The bbq pork buns meet the hype-- but their siu mai and beef offals are good as well . Gets super crowded on weekends.
If you come here for dim sum , come during the week. The dishes are fresh & hot from the kitchen and they have some of the best daan taat this side of the Tai Cheong Bakery . Translation: Hot & good!
Best shrimp dumplings in the city . You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
Order slowly, it's easy to order more but impossible to unorder something. We got WAY too much. The Peking Duck (not on the menu , have to ask for it) is enough for six people alone.
Went for pot luck with the selection of dim sum and it was all great especially the BBQ buns .
One of my favorite spots for fresh dimsum . Also if you're lucky you'll see a celeb from China.
Tasty and authentic Hong Kong dim sum . Nothing fancy , just great and traditional.
Always a lengthy wait even on weekdays. If you can get a seat in a short amount of time though, try the Fish Rice Rolls !
Try the baked pork buns ! Like no other pork bun I've ever had!
Steamed fish , potstickers , eggplant , chicken wings , calamari , mushroom tofu , string beans .
Best Chinese food I've ever had! Fresh ingredients , flavorful dishes. Can't wait to go back!
My parents visiting from NYC Area were very impressed with the Chinese food here!
I love everything here, but the soup dumplings are not soupy!
Great dim sum ! Try an order of the coffee ribs .
it is not uncommon u may have to wait for half an hour to be seated for dim sum on weekends. they have another location on Geary (between Beaumont Ave & Parker Ave) for dinner
bun is thinner here, which obviously equals for a more juicy pork experience! (thats what she said, hey oh) nom nom
Dim sum is great. Get the coffee rubbed pork ribs
I dreamt of the baked pork bun for days. Dinner is dewicious as well .
The dumplings (of all varieties) are amazing.
Best dim sum in the city . Don't like dim sum ? Go anyway.
Get the steamed egg yolk buns omg
For dinner , order one of the set menus. Better value than a la carte .
Great fried taro dim sum . No carts , so food is actually fresh.
Chicken feet , tripe , taro
Fantastic dim sum - worth waiting a little for.
The baked pork buns are bomb! The outside has the just-right texture, and the inside has great flavor.
The Pork and Shrimp Shu Mai is delicious!
First seating is at 5:30, a good time to come get dim sum
Most excellent. Brought back memories of the flavors of Hong Kong.
Everything tastes great! Awesome dessert !
The line is harsh but worth it. High quality, reasonable price.
Must get the baked pork bun here. Haven't seen it made this way anywhere else.
Huge quantities of dim sum for cheap .
Tofu with mushroom very good, shrimp egg ok, salt pepper ribs good, brown chicken clay pot ok, shrimp yee mein not that good
If you're looking forward to the honey on the baked cha siu baos , this is not the place to get them.
Mango fish FTW!
Pekin duck is ok and noodle w/ crab is good. However it's better to be careful about closing time.
Top notch. Awesome service. Delish shanghai dumplings, mushroom spring rolls, pickled cucumbers, and stuffed eggplant! Coming back soon - Chip Moreland
