This library has a fantastic kids section . Many many books + chairs, tables, toys , and lots of natural daylight. A place you'll enjoy hanging out for a while with your kids while they pick out books .
Bring your own laptop (the wi-fi is excellent here, not to mention this is one of the most pleasant libraries in the Twin Cities ), and you can make copies for 10 cents. You can even do it outdoors!
Check out the 'local history alcove' and learn more about Pierre Bottineau (1817-1895), local guide, trapper, and trader who opened up the Northwest Corridor of the Twin Cities area to settlement.
