Stop by early in the morning to get Jin dui fresh out of the fryer. They are deep-fried rice flour spheres filled with black bean paste or coconut sugar and covered in sesame seeds . -December 2011
Best custard pies - place orders in advance for special occasions (holiday lines go out the door). Long johns & jin dui are ono too =)
Worth a trip to Chinatown for the custard pie—it's still the same decade after decade. Park in the municipal garage around the corner if you can't find a spot on the street.
All everything been a customer since the 1991
Seriously the best custard pie in town . Always hot and fresh!
Go early for the Peanut Butter or Black Sugar Mochi .
Try the lilikoi snow ice! Very flavorful! Also, the popping boba tastes delicious! - J.C.
Delicious custom flavors..recommend the honey lavender or bacon whiskey. - Nico V.
Lots of packaged and dry goods here. A few produce items like Oranges, Bananas, Papayas. Summer time they stock up on Berries, Lychee, Rambutan, and Longan. - Harry Covair
Lots to see and do. Feel free to haggle -- but most is reasonably priced anyway. - Clay Chastain
SCY recently changed the filling in their Gok Jai (Half Moon). It is quite ono now. The Rice Skin is also thinner. Winnahz! - Harry Covair
