Here you can find the most awesome "polpette " ever! (Meat balls ) enjoy it with a little glass of red or white wine ! I'm local and really, the most awesome meat balls !
By the gods of the sun and the moon, this magical Trattoria is home to the most amazing fried ball to touch planet earth. Stand at the bar , order your polpette balls and red wine !
The meatballs are a must try here. The food is excellent and the wine goes well . The staff are friendly , intimate dining experience and great value for money .
Mostly seafood in this cute little Osteria in the heart of Canarregio. My basilicum pesto pasta was tasty and rich in flavours. Small portions, meant as tapas mostly.
Try their polpette and squid ink pasta . Baby octopus with tomato sauce served with polenta are tasty but less than you can expect!
Taste is okay, very traditional, need to reserve a table. Generally you can find seafoods pasta or plate. Locals choose here and very busy place.
One of the oldest Trattorias in Venice for the locals. Warm environment, good prices, friendly staff. You may want to reserve a table cause it's hard to find one.Try the polpetes & the anchovies pasta !
Old school trattoria. Ideal for some cheeky cicchetti and drinks by the bar . Sitting and menu also available. A bit pricey .
Try to stay at the bar , red wine and polphetto were so good. U would enjoy the owner clash those tourist dump . Love this kind of place--
Pasta con vongole and shrimp and chilli pasta were from heaven!
A typical Venetian "bacaro": a bar simply furnished with wooden tables and benche.Try a glass of prosecco , or a glass of spritz, and the "polpettine"! You'll love it!
The polpetti meatballs are excellent, as is the homemade pasta and Prosecco !
One of the oldest Trattorias in Venice with some of the best meatballs (polpette ) in the city . All for only €1.50!
Friendliest service we had in Venice, fantastic clams and squid as well as being cheaper than the local restaurants !
You must try the meatballs !very good lunch , not expensive !
Awesome seafood , if you’re by yourself eat at the bar and you’ll pay less…
Polpette is an absolutely must have as starter. Fritura mista and spaghetti busara, just delicious.
Polpetta was really great! But you need to reserve table in 1-2 days if you want dinner here.
Try the "polpetta " at the desk with a glass of red wine ! So great!
Confusing method to try and get a seat, which I still don't understand, however it was worth the pain.
Nice people. As the old woman next to me said, "these are truly the best polpette in Venezia."
The only spot in Venice that would not accept credit cards! The portions were tiny small and we had to ask for a receipt! At the end they offered a glass of grappa . One glass for two people!
Meatballs are a must appetizer .
Good bar full of locals and it means a lot. Many people come here to eat Polpetta .
Best meatballs in town !
Polpette , seafood , vegetables , wine , everything
You MUST have the polpetti - meatballs , with an ombré of vino .
The best place in venice for aperitif and baccari: try red wine and polpette cheap and tasty! Amazing!
Try meatball , that is great !
The polpette are not to be missed.
One of the best known bacari on the strada nuova
Polpette are good, the rest is simply awful, maybe because the chef is not a local, but coming from asia or africa. The bigoli were spaghetti and were salty and completely uncooked, a place to avoid!
The polpetti with an ombre of white wine !
Pastas prepared with typical venetian food ingredients (e.g sardines)
Meat balls , a seafood platter and a miniature glass of the house red at the bar . Do it.
Best polette/meatballs in town .
Seppia veneziana
Good service
Polpette ????
Polpette strepitose!
Polpette are good an this is the only thing to mentions, the rest was absolutely awful, if you want a real venice experience, do not come here!

excellent local tastes! Definitely worth the prices. You can try many delicious small portions and very good wine! do NOT forget to get the heavenly Tiramisu. All comes from super passionate staff! - Gissu Firouzmand
Good and cheap cicchetti. The owner is great. Lovely atmosphere (old school Venetian songs!). They sell ales! - Pablo
A wonderful place! Enjoy tasty Italian food while sitting at the waterfront looking at cruise ships. Very friendly staff, good wine recommendation. - M H
Beautiful bridge, and it provides a great view on the busy Canal Grande as well! - David Chung
Order your aperol spritz/wine/beer inside and have it on the pier with a quiet view of the Grand Canal at sundown, together with the locals. Enjoy an aperitif of pasta, risotto and bruschetta. ❤️ - Jeroen Swinnen
I highly recommend the scallops as an antipasto - they're covered in a wonderful light and zesty sauce. Wonderful! Overall a great and cozy trattoria. - Colin Mansfield
