Lots of space for your kids to run. There is one playground here. Of course currently right now it's flooded in all the picnic areas . A bunch of exercise spots and stationary equipment.

Love this place..you can do so many things! Walk the trail around the lake , walk your dog, skate park , kids get to run free, no plygrd tho

This park opens at 6:30 AM every morning it closes 30 minutes before sunset the time for closing will vary according to the season.

HISTORY

James F. Cunningham purchased this land in the 1880s. It was originally a dairy farm but because of flooding , the city of San Jose stepped in, turning it into a man made lake by the 1900s.

Nice place for picnics and parties/fishing/boating, lack of playground is a bummer.

There's a free weight exercising area around the Tully entrance. Pretty cool!

It's a horrible dirty lake . The lake is brown and green and looks gross. There's goose poop all over the trails by the lake . It needs a huge makeover. Don't come here expecting something half decent
