Agami Contemporary Sushi

Remarkably good, modern but chill . This is definitely Chicago sushi , not West Coast, but that is not at all a bad thing. Steps from the Lawrence stop, worth the trip.

Super fresh amaebi (sweet shrimp ) with the fried heads and all. O-toro. Chu-toro. Super fatty salmon . The quality here is outstanding and worth the drive up to Uptown.

The men in black roll will knock your socks off. The sweet potato is really good too. A little pricey but worth the splurge. Service can be off at times.

My favs are: Spicy mini lobster rolls and the Salmon tempura rolls !!! The staff here is sooo friendly !!!

Some of the better sushi I've had in Chicago, at a slightly higher price point. Would recommend for pre-concert goers!

Strange layout and atmosphere. Service is slow and confused. Cuts of fish are pretty great though, while the rolls are hit or miss. I don’t recommend the spicy tuna . Cocktails are yummy though!

You should try the King Kong! It's delicious! The mushroom crab puffs were soo good too. And you have to try the Apple tart dessert thing! It's the best dessert ever!

Slightly more expensive than most sushi restaurants , but the service was amazing and the quality of the food was worth it.

Wow.. This place is not fancy any more. Why are people wearing sweat clothes on Vday?! Also I think they were short staffed on Valentines day. Boo. Waited more than an hour with no service.
