(5/20/2017 – Sat.) Less crowded , you can closely engage with any interested artwork. The label display includes history, geo reference and narrative of an artist at time of work. A valuable exercise.
Best calligraphy collection outside china . They have a Wang Xinzhi copy ( considering no original existing ) - wang is most influential calligraphy master . My fav study break spot , free admission
We came to the museum for our daughter every weekend. They have very creative arts and crafts activities linked with historical and/or artistic themes. It is both educational and fun for kids .
Totally worth every minute. Great span of collection and the sculptures scattered around the campus are truly impressive too
Make sure to spend some time in the Art of the Ancient Americas gallery downstairs. The collection was started by Gillett Griffin, and is one of the best in the world!
Kids Saturdays are lovely on a cold winter week end. The museum has a great collection and is just the perfect size.
A very nice collection and they always have excellent special exhibitions .
Visit the museum on a windy or rainy day. When you get inside, appreciate the quiet . Walk in and search out the Basquiat that is a part of their Modern collection. Stand in its presence and swoon.

2 floors of exhibits , tiny gift shop , good for only half an hour.
Check out the Roman pavement in the Ancient Byzantine and Islamic Art section. Gifts of the Committee for the Excavation of Antioch...
They have a vague photography rule. I would say it's better to apologize than ask for permission.
Don't forget to donate $5 before you walk into the museum !
