Home of the NHL's New York Islanders. The Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, commonly known as Nassau Coliseum or simply The Coliseum, is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Uniondale, New York.

Plan to arrive early as NYCB Live will not have enough security entrances to assure anything less than a 30 minute wait
Small arena with a lot of history. Good beer selection . Plenty of parking . Not much to do near the arena . If you need help deciding which Seats to purchase for your next Islanders game, check out Read more
It's always been my favorite local venue. The renovations included widened concourses, HD screens and brand new comfortable seats . It has great aesthetics to enjoy making memories at The New Coliseum.
Refurbished NYCB Live has all the modern touches of a new arena
Experienced the barn for the first time and saw an epic hockey battle. It's got grungy charm and history. Definitely fun to experience the crowd.
There is a Market Fair every weekend that has hundreds of vendors with vintage clothing , jewelry , re-purposed furniture to home decor , collectibles and antiques as well as activities for the kids!
Terrible venue, terrible customer service, and a real ripoff for parking fee. Go to MSG
when pulling up for a game don't forget to honk your horn once, then again, then three times real quick...."one, two, one-two-three"......LET'S GO ISLANDERS !
Old and outdated arena . small crowds for hockey on the weekdays but on the weekends it gets crowded . im really gonna miss this place so sad to see my team leave but the arena will be renovated.
A nice/smaller change of pace from the major NYC venues. Isn't as much a hike to get to your seats, and acoustics are a major upgrade from its predecessor.
Great Place to see a hockey game and the pretzel braids are the best. Gonna miss the Old Barn next season
Join us in raising money to help the families of the victims of the tragic Lokomotiv plane crash. Look for tables on the concourse during home games to purchase a Love for Lokomotiv bracelet. Read more
Here is a great tip for you. Be sure to tell Eric Bordin to look at himself in the mirror for the definition of a classless fan base.
Moving to Brooklyn will be stupid. What hockey fans are in Brooklyn. It's a smaller stadium , it's in a bad neighborhood , and it's not on Long Island so it can't be the islanders so just don't move.
Went for the open house. They improved seating, now have one of my favorite local beers on tap , Long Ireland.
When you sit in the pit or sections 100's They assist you with your seats. But when you sit in sections 200's or 300's they don't care to help you find your seats at all.
Fanatic Fact: The Islanders selected Denis Potvin from the Ottawa 67's (OHL) with the first overall pick in 1973. Potvin would go on to captain the Isles to four consecutive Stanley Cup Championships.
I'll miss this place. Not a bad seat in the house and it's always loud .
Great place to watch hockey . Shame the Islanders are moving to Brooklyn...so may great memories there
The first event in the arena was a NY Nets Basketball game on February 11, 1972. The Nets played at the Coliseum from 1972-77 and won American Basketball Association Championships in 1974 & 1976.
I went to see the Pitbull/Enrique Iglesias concert on 9/14/2014 I was quite surprised with the $30.00 parking fee. With all this money collected it is terrible that the Coliseium can't be fixed up.
Small old school venue. Makes me glad I'm a Rangers fan with a building in the modern ages as opposed to a building stuck in the 80s. Let's Go Rangers
So many great memories of this place. LI won't be the same without it.
Watch the Islanders in Executive Suite style. Enjoy hosting 8-20 guests with professional catering after you receive VIP parking .

The Ace ComicCon was good here.
This is one of the greatest Coliseum with lots of good memories.
For close to 8 dollars, you can get 3 chicken tenders with no fries . Be forewarned.
Be sure to stick around for the annual Burger Conquest birthday bbq in the VIP parking lot . http://burgerconquest.blogspot.com/2009/07/warped-tour-at-nassau-coliseum-in.html
Bobby Smith was born in Perth Ontario and played for the Ottawa 67's
Never a long line at the ladies room near gate 3
The Islanders need a new home. Can be a bit overwhelming for a fan of a visiting team...depending on the team though
The cheap seats are the best. Just watch for the low ceilings and drunk cabbies.
Most people don't know about the restaurants and bars downstairs. Ana and Annie are the best concession girls.
Saw Celine Dion here. Great show
The Coliseum may be the worst arena in the NHL by far, but it's home. Plenty of good memories here. Let's go Islanders !
The Mausoleum is a DUMP !! But I don't mind getting to watch my Rangers beat up on he fish sticks for a cheap price!! LETS GO RANGERS
