The best bet is a glass of white wine and an array of the amusements and introductions, including confit pig tongue , salmon rillettes, escargots , and potted foie gras mousse . [Eater 38 Member]

The broth is rich with succulent chicken essence and seasoned with little leaves of dill . The carrots , cut into perfect, tiny dice, are just toothy enough to add some substance. It's a bowl of bliss!

The pan bagnat has a history in France of being the sandwich you sit on during your drive to a picnic . Meritage has kept that authentic taste (possibly better) without having the need to be sat on. Read more

The northeast cocktail , pictured here was great. Oysters , ok. French opinion soup good. However, a lady pickpocketed me on a busy night and the thief attempted to use my cards at target. Keep aware!

Amazing oysters , great craft cocktails , very tasty French onion soup…in fact the entire menu is awesome. Service is top-notch as well ; highly recommend Meritage.

The food and ambiance here is amazing. The staff was good with the exception of out waitress . At the beginning she was helpful but than she began to treat us like we were inconveniencing her .

Everything is delicious here - start to finish - but recently REALLY enjoyed the "couscous royal" dish: Moroccan lamb , couscous and fresh vegs . Amazing!

Paul Crosby

The tastes bring me to Paris every time. Love the Saturday plate of short ribs - tender and perfect. Ask for Peter's section - best waiter in town !

Mpls.St.Paul Magazine

Best French - French food (besides fries ) was in danger of becoming passé, until Meritage breathed in a little joie de vivre. There’s not much more fun than hanging in the oyster bar . Read more

Voted top ten chicken wings ! The result is an intensely chickeny chicken wing with a distinctly bacony flavor that yields the bone with the gentlest nudge.

Try the oysters . The oyster bar is bringing in some real beauties. Imagine flavors that evoke cucumber , briny-salty air, and copper on the tongue .—Mpls.St.Paul Magazine, February 2011

AMAZING PUMPKIN SOUP ! Not cream based, but sooo creamy, pumpkiny...mmm.

I've been here a number of times...NEVER disappointed. When making a reservation request a table by the windows...watching the city move in front of the restaurant is a big part of the experience.

Some people like to add a shot of gin or vodka to their oyster-bloody-mary-shooters. Great hair of the dog for Sunday Brunch as well .

lottie anderson

a fetchingly French experience - if you go for brunch watch out, they charge you extra for your bloody beer back! non non!
