New-comer to the downtown food truck scene, Phil's serves up the best cheesesteaks in the city . Ask for 2x cheese : American + Wiz. Usually on Water + John Thurs., but check @philssteaks

The vegetarian cheesesteak was an underwhelming mushroom , peppers , and cheese sandwich . The bread was too wet so I scraped everything off and threw it away. The plain fries were outstanding though.

Amazing. Perfect amount of messy and cheese . Get the wiz (I think that's what it's called) with lots of hot sauce soooo good!

When Phil's is in FiDi it's a much better option than Shorty's. I like the Special with Wiz. It gets messy to eat though, I wish it came with a wetnap.

Love the Small size--can actually finish the whole thing. Wish they put more provolone on it--would be PERFECT if they did!

It's ok, expensive for what you get in terms of size of portion and quality of the meat. Te bread is ok, and the onions are always undercooked.
