It's a great place to see live music and the food is good too! General admission shows are a blast but get your fix ahead of time. It's a small venue .
Forgot how fun an evening at this place is. Great music in seats with tables. Killer view of the stage. Good sushi and cocktails while you watch.
Chill spot to bring a date, girlfriend or wife. Get Cousy with the artist in this snug friendly environment . A little over 300 capacity. Every seats a good seat.
The place is open seating , so if there for a show make sure to make a reservation for dinner before your show - you get preferred (better) seat selection while at dinner .
A bit pricey but the food is good. If you don't want Japanese they serve burgers and other types of food during the show. TIP: Dinner patrons get first dibs on show seating. First come, first served
If u are a meat eater, go for the steak and pepper skewers along with the shrimp tempura . You won't regret the combination of flavors.
Eat at the restaurant first and they'll let you reserve seats for your show. Even if all you get is appetizers and drinks, you'll still be able to get better seating.
The sea urchin row sushi was excellent, went there for a 70th birthday of my brother in law
If you don't eat dinner there, you can not get reserved seating for the show. Make sure you get there on time. They're very strict about it.
I saw Dr John here and it was awesome! Great seats, acoustics , crowd, and show! This was a great experience and I can't wait to come back!
Can't even explain how intimate and good this place is. The food was out of this world. Definitely coming again.
The sushi is awesome, and are a bit bigger (and pricier ) than other sushi places. Naturally busy when there are shows, but service is still top notch. Looking forward to catching a show!
The Brussels sprouts are such a great starter that we indulged with a second order. Both our meals were delicious [sea bass and lamb loin].
Go to Yoshis! Either Oakland or SF ,great experience and some top notch entertainment like CHANTE MOORE!
The food is amazing. Try the snow monkey sushi . Simply amazing.
Decent food. Well decorated. They have jazz performance every night, but you need to buy separate tickets
Try the Omakase Nigiri - Maguro (tuna ), Tai (red snapper ), Sake (salmon ), Hamachi (yellowtail ), and Kani (crab )
Validate your Washington Street parking ticket before you leave! Your host can do it for you too.
Fantastic place! unforgettable nights to see legendary jazz and blues musicians/singers.
2 shows every night, stiff or smooth drinks depending on what you like, decent sushi but try the Kobe beef burger--yum! I work here in the box office so come say hey if you come down.
Have dinner first and then go to the 10pm show - You'll have a good chance to sit up front for wonderful jazz artists like Nancy Wilson, DIana Krall and Steve Tyrell
Great ambiance, food, and drinks to go with amazing live bands
Love the live shows and the meet and greet tickets are worth the bucks
Great small venue club for jazz and other music
Best music club in Bay Area
Great atmosphere and vibe. Really nice menu too!!
Try the Crispy Brussel Sprouts - Really crispy and yummy. Panko bread crumbs make the difference.
Awesome place to listen jazz , R&B and enjoy your favorite artist / musician .????????
Shows are always first rate
Try the Seasonal Vegetable Tempura - Love the mall especially the okra and Lotus root .
Great stage area but 4 people to those tiny tables is a bit much. Food was okay not fantastic and a bit over priced but the ambiance was enjoyable. I'd go back again.
Try the Seasonal Vegetable Tempura - Loved them all. Especially the okra and lotus.
A fun place. Validate parking—slight discursive. Parking next door.
Try the Seasonal Vegetable Tempura - Loved them all especially the okra and lotus.
Best Bay Area spot for live music
Try the Panko Fried Brussels Sprouts - Dr John concert in 1 hour on Fat Tuesday!
The Crab & Beet salad & Yoshi rolls are too die for! & make sure you catch a world class show in the lounge !
Try the Kurobuta Prime Pork Loin & Cedar Plank Grilled Scottish Salmon
Great jazz . Overpriced food and don't order a martini unless you like ice chips
The show. The Yardbirds ! Super great show.
Try the Spicy Tempura Roll - One of the most amazing rolls I've ever had.
Unfortunately we had a nice meal but in the morning I was projectile vomiting. Didn't eat anything else around that time or the next day. Ruined my Christmas .
The show was excellent but, the food and service terrible . Leela James killed the show.
great & serious jazz venue. the sushi isn't bad either.
Great intimate venue for jazz...the restaurant is very good too.
Food was really good but, the service was slow. There was a show going on so I'll give them that but, there were a lot of times I was finished with my water and it was awhile before it got refilled.
If you can't make it to the club, or just want to relive a fabulous performance you saw, visit http://www.livestream.com/yoshis for free video recorded concerts .
I love this place including when there's performers . They are normally locals and there's mostly a $10-$15 cover but it's totally worth it.
