Tjörnin

A nice little pond in the middle of the coty always filled with all sorts of bird life!! :)

In January 2019 the Tjörnin was frozen, so people could walk on it! Cute litte pond in the heart of Reykjavik.

Café called Tjörnin on Tjörnin. Nice cosy inexpensive café with good service , but lacks variety due to its size.

Can’t miss this park in downtown Reykjavík, never seen so many swans together at once

At summer feed the ducks and at winter iceskating in the frozen water. Famous place.

During the winter it freezes and you can skate on that!

The lake freezes in winter.

Lovely peaceful lake .

Geese & ducks ????

You can walk across the lake in Winter.

Not much around the lake itself but a few nice place just off it.

Be careful or you will get mobbed by the geese & they will try to eat your iPhone.

Beautiful at midnight during the summer.
