NYT Top New Restaurants *** (11/2019): "Rice noodles w/ mushrooms and seaweed ; scallop ceviche ; hamachi tiradito; lobster and beef heart ; duck breast nigiri ; chicken thigh , ají amarillo and walnuts ."

The tuna ceviche and the duck nigiri are both amazing and the flaming creatures cocktail is divine. It’s a bit too reverential for my liking. It needs a little more of a fun factor.

Ranu Rajkarnikar

Ceviches were all delicious, tonkatsu pork and cabbage too. Drinks were balanced and tasty. Service felt off though, and clumsy.

Kiwi Wang

One of the best meals I’ve ever had, not surprising from the Llama group! Every course interesting, surprising, packed w flavor. The lobster and beef heart was the star, both creative and delicious.

Lili Baz

Pricey but worth it! The standouts were the scallop and trout ceviches , the sweet potatoes , and the wagyu tartare ! The Iberico pork was too rich for me. The pisco sour didn’t disappoint either!

Alexandre Munhoz

Nice and clear atmosphere, minimalist menu and excellent service. Ceviches are not classic but inventive. The pork Milanese is fantastic. Trout & the cabbage are not very good. Cocktails are fine.

Missy Mackey

Very chic ambience and great service. The wagyu tartare and iberico katsu pork with udon verde were the standouts, but everything was so artfully presented and delicious.

Gregory Fisher

Scallop Ceviche and Duck Nigiri are the standouts of a great menu and great service (coffee and tea service serves 2+ people though, as an FYI)

Great food but pretty pricey . The portions and price point feels similar to an omakase . There is a Prix Fixe option for $80 which is definitely worth esp if you plan on getting at least 3 dishes

Judy P

Da best: Tuna ceviche , cabbage , duck nirigi and pork ibérico . Do it. (Lobster and beef heart was so so)

Marie La Rue

Short menu of Peruvian-Japanese fusion dishes. Tuna ceviche , noodles with shishtake and pork Iberico .

Kelsey L

Everything we had was amazing. Definitely try the scallop ceviche and the duck <3

Craig Villamor

The hiramasu ceviche is so good I nearly broke down and cried.

Simran Dass

All three ceviches were amazing, and so was the tofu , cabbage & chicken . A very expensive restaurant for small portions, but I would come again just for the taste

Michael McManus

hamachi & uni ceviche ???? and octopus and crab fried rice ????

Elizabeth Burstein

Pineapple cocktail ok. Had squid ink pasta tonkotsu , scallop and tuna ceviche , duck things. Tonkotsu was best but generally overpriced

Hitomi Sakai

Each dishes were unique and delicious. Food was served extremely slow though, venue was pretty. Must come with someone can talk long time!

Erik Schomburg

The tuna ceviche and tonkatsu style pork were delicious.

Charles B

lobster / beef heart dish was a highlight. super rich though. fun place.

Jimmy Okuszka

Literally everything

Ernesto Gutierrez

The decor and ambiance is on point but the food does not live up to the hype. I find myself having a hard time trying to find any praise for it. It is just not worth the money.

Diana Richter

The duck is a highlight but beyond that does not live up to the hype despite 2 visits. Also, pretty so-so service.

Douglas Watters
