Best dumpling house in queens. love their scallion pancakes , noodlesoup, pork sauted noodle and cold dishes as well .plus Lucy, the owner, is really nice. Would def recommend this place..

Fried dumplings are yummy if you like the skin thick, 8 for $2.75. The beef stew noodle soup is huge. You should share with someone. Noodles are delicious.

Uncle Zhou's noodle soups may boast a better broth, but with $2 to $3 dumpling orders, $1.50 porridge bowls, and free (albeit watery) tea , you'll be hard-pressed to find a better deal in Queens.

Nicholas Doyle

It's all about glutenous chewiness & texture here. The Hand-Pulled Noodle soups are the best of both worlds. Intense flavor, perfect texture. More flavorful dumplings , pancakes and buns are elsewhere.

Used to frequent here couple years ago but stopped because of inconvenience. Went out of my way this time and it's still so awesome! A favorite hole in the wall no frills spot in Elmhurst.

Front row seats to hand pulling noodles . The communal dining area could use a touch up. Usually stop in for a quick bite and a bag of frozen dumplings to bring home and make later.

Serious Eats

Cheap , tasty hand-pulled noodles , including one bowl topped with several hefty marrow bones .

Real Cheap Eats

Elmhurst Chinatown institution. This family-run noodle shop was around the corner (now Lao Kou Wei). In its new spot, you get Shenyang-style handpulled noodles , dumplings & now hot pot , cold dishes.

Lao Bei Fang moved around the corner from its original spot on Whitney Ave to Broadway, expanding the space and menu but still keeping the same hand pulled, home made , family run vibe and taste.
