Comal River

For a day trip float down the river , this is a good place. Even with the drought there still seems to be a decent flow. Not as many low spots as the Guadalupe. They have listed the can ban as well .

Best place to go tubing! Definitely go with Rocking R's services, they have a bus that takes you all the way back to your car if need be.

It's a perfect place for the summer or a hot day you can just go sit in the river or you can float down the river and have a good time with friends and family!

Everyone was extremely friendly , happy, and overall awesome. Wrap that all together and throw in some beautiful scenery and poof! You have the Comal River

My second most favorite river in Texas ???????? a great place to have a float. Leave he cans and plastic bottles at home.

Buy a tube from Walmart. It's absolutely free to float! Just get there early enough and you won't have to worry about finding a space to park .

Remember beer cans aren’t allowed anymore on the river so bring a reusable water bottle of some sort to store any alcohol . I recommend night floating to avoid the crowds!

If you stay at the Schlitterbahn Resort take the shuttle at 11am and float the Comal for free ( including tube)

Get their early and water shoes might be a good idea. And waterproof carry cases for other stuff is a good idea too!

It's a cold, spring fed river . Several endangered species in the Springs and upper river . Don't litter.

Landa River Rentals, best place to get a tube rental and ride back, 10$.
