Their vanilla millefeuille is the best I ever had, oh so flavourful vanilla cream & light puff pastry . Tasty selection of chocolates coming in gorgeous boxes (great for a gift !). Cosy tea room .
Praline millefeuille is amazing. Lemon tart is also a good thing to try. You may have to wait to be seated especially during the weekend. I love it but not the best service.
Exciting + modern takes on French pastry classics, with impeccable technique, like tart au citron (with added basil ) and mille feuille which melts in your mouth. The only location w/ a tearoom
Pastry of the highest level! Tarte au citron with a hint of basil , Paris Brest that are to die for. Heavenly hot chocolate . It doesn’t get much better than this!
Ordered ginger chocs and chocs in a sachet to go, and they are so good. Fruit jellies are bursting w flavour too. Free samples displayed in the shop, try to resist yourself from snatching them all.
Can get a bit pricey BUT I'd definitely recommend getting the chocolate bars (both light and dark) as they make good gifts for your friends and are great to snack on when touring !
Great hot chocolate bot to sweet that you can actually eat a dessert at the same time. Definitely the best lemon tart in the whole world!!!!
For 17 euros you can get a bag with an assortment of chocolates and sweets. Make sure you try their superb pate de fruits !
TRY: A bag of caramel candies . With flavors like macadamia nuts , passion fruit-mango, coffee , vanilla or simply “nature”, you can't help but buying more than one box.
Walking into La chocolaterie of Jacques Genin is like walking into a jewellery store: his chocolates are so refined in taste. The pâtes de fruits are so soft & flavourful: nothing to compare with
If you love chocolate and you love yourselves, go and enjoy a good hot chocolate and the most famous millefeuille in the world.
Personally, I can skip the chocolates here, but absolutely must get the caramels . Definitely try the mango caramels as well as the other flavors.
One of the best chocolate shops in Paris. Try their extraordinary mango caramels and their amazing chocolate ! They both will melt in your mouth :-)
One of the best chocolatier in Paris. The fruit jellies are also excellent. Quite pricey .
world class pastry . especially the lemon tart .
Caramels are great as advertised, buttery and creamy, and are priced at around €1 each
Great hot chocolate . One of the best I've had in my life! But be careful, it's very rich And heavy
The chocolate , the pâtes de fruits and the pastries are amazing but everything is too expensive ; not sure it's worth it.
It’s totally impossible to resist the pastries and chocolates created by Jacques Genin. Taste his famous lemon tartlets and a chocolate millefeuille prepared on the spot.
The caramels and chocolate truffles are truly something special. They come at a price, but they’re worth every single penny.
You can taste some of the treats which is nice. And the service was excellent. Dem caramels tho ????????
Get the original caramels and chocolate truffles . Eat the truffles in France, because they won't keep for long.
The best chocolats , best pastries ever. And mr Jacques himself is one of best and kind creator ever !
All I can say is that if I was left with only one chance to have pastry ever in my life, it would be Tarte Citron by Jacques Genin.
Best chocolate I have ever had...
Ask for a free sample ! The mango passion caramels are unlike anything I've ever had!
Their caramels are phenomenal and make for great souvenirs!
In the City of Light, hot chocolate refers to real melted chocolate blended with whole milk or cream, resulting in a thick, rich and decadent dessert . Jacques Genin's version is incredible. Read more

Strawberry almond gateau (chow)
The place is very small and you might have to wait a little bit to be seated. Service was very poor. They forgot our order. We had to leave without eating. It's a pity...
