Tie up for a little social hour.. Or three or four! Families tend to gather further to the north end.

Pack a lunch and enjoy a scenic hike around the 1 mile lakeside trail . If you are feeling green, pack a garbage bag and take some trash off the island .

Don't drink the water. Seriously. The two people I have observed drinking the water @ Big Island fell (& remained) desperately ill for days after. Other than that, have fun & plan for a sober driver.

Bring sunscreen and a camera .
