Now independent (formerly Holiday Inn ) & still the only hotel on the bay . Remains a best value. Long term friendly staff . Best rooms face the bay and have patios . Kokomo's bar sits outside on the bay .
Gorgeous view from bay front rooms. Pool is very large but lots of people hanging out cause the rooms open up to the pool.
Stayd 2x, disappointing. No parking 4 guest becuz hotel is also N event venue & easy access 4 nonpaying guest. Pool area over chlorinated. No private balconies , glass doors open to a public walkway.
The cabanas are great...getting your room cleaned before 3pm on a Saturday, questionable
Right on the beach for a great view of the bay & close to downtown.
Love it here. Need to stay longer!!
Nueces County Historical Society banquet
Some employees here don't understand how tax exemption works so examine your receipt on check out. Also the WiFi here is mediocre at best.

Everything! A unique bayfront to walk about is quite impressive depending on the time of arrival/departure. The gulf stream oceanic breeze is there. The Bayfront sponsors generously donate benches. - Donna Vandeveld
