If you want to avoid a crowded theater, definitely try this one during the day. It was virtually empty around 1 pm on a weekday. Sometimes you just want to watch a movie on a giant screen in peace !
No rows in the theatre, so when you choose where you are sitting and you see seats reserved , know that if you pick a seat next to someone, you are right there up close & personal with them! :-)
Don't forget to explore upstairs. You can view the projection room and look at artwork on the wall. Go early and you can wait in the lounge before your movie starts.
Food (black bean burger )! Comfortable clean seats!! Entire atmosphere! Quickly, has become my favorite theater. Super well staffed w/ great friendly service .
The kitchen and bar don't open until 4 pm on weekdays. So, the reason to come to this overpriced theatre doesn't apply to any weekday matinees. They sell it as a speakeasy but don't follow through.
Best place to see a movie for adults. Even a cool lounge right off the lobby for after drinks! Bring your idea and remember your parking space number.
the seating chart online is very misleading. last time i was here it was the Landmark Theatres Metro Cinemas and the rooms did not space out like this.
drink micro brews or fancy cocktails in the theater. tasty selection of sandwiches , pizzas , and small bites.
Be aware that the menu has been pared back pretty significantly. Pizza , hot dogs , nachos , pretzels , popcorn .
Cocktails are a bit pricey at around $10 a pop, but they're legit. Long Island 's are made right. Nice and lemony too.
Comfy , though pricey , and they really need to stop with the "choosing your seat" at the ticket counter without having seen the layout of the auditorium .
Arrive an hour or so early to have a beverage and pretzel-bite snack in the upstairs lounge before your show starts.
Dine-in only applies to movies starting after 3pm, only meat option is an $8 frozen Fletcher hot dog that they microwave at the counter and popcorn , candy . No nachos or real food.
OMG. Finally new seats! Finally comfort and independent cinema can co-exist on 45th.
Concessions are expensive like at any theater, but at least it's got alcohol . Fun place to see a movie .
"discounted parking " it is not - $7.63! won't come to weekday afternoon showing again when can't park for free in DECA lot
One of the coolest movie experiences I've had, can't wait to go back
Seats are great. Every two seats has a little table between. So convenient!
amazing theatre. be aware that it's 21+ only, so bring your IDs :)
reserved seats, cocktails in real glassware , vegan cookies .
Reserved seating, over 21 only! A movie theater with no kids running around!
Excellent seating. You can't go wrong anywhere.
Great comfee seats and the screens are really big!
Next time I will try deep eddys grapefruit mule. Bartender raved...unfortunately after I already ordered and got my Malbec
When picking your seat the MOVIE screen is at the TOP.
Comfy seats , booze, slow concession stand
You need your ID
The only way to see a movie these days is having reserved seats
New seats and food options ... With booze. Over 21 only.
liked it better when it was the Landmark Theatres Metro
Love the assigned seating.
Super pricey but nicely designed.
Such comfy seats !!
Coolest theatre in Seattle.
Cocktails cocktails cocktails
Sundance is an overpriced and slightly uncomfortable experience...the worst part is probably the unexplained amenity fee and cold popcorn . Give your money to somewhere else, like Cinebarre
Food is expensive and bland. While the ticket price is expensive , it's totally worth it as there are no kids running around!
Wow these new seats are great!
Serious teething problems with the bar and concessions . Needs a major rethink. I'd hate to be here if it was busy.
Monday discounts
The salami tastes like feet. You've been warned!
Bar ! Reserved seats!
They have beer here!
Was better as a Sundance
21+, serves alcohol
Overpriced
Great theater. Paul Allen outdid himself with this gem. Comfortable, roomy, friendly staff. Smaller screens upstairs, but still enjoyable. - Rick P
I love the rocking chairs & removable arm rests - makes for a very cozy date night! - Lisa Renee
This place is great! We just finished to watch a 3D movie and we loved it. Great sounds and seats are comfy enough. - Vanessa Springfield
LOVE their wine selection. I also love that they label the ones that are organic and Vegan!! - Breann Harper
Great old school dive with lots of history. Cute bartender named mary. - Michael Lewis
Really nice place to have a stroll in the summer! Has all the key stores you need and a few great restaurants. - Diana Chow
