Love this pub . Great service, great beer , lots of cocktails if you like. Food is good, but not amazing. The atmosphere is fab though.
Lovely pub . Warning, ordered the "Poutine " and was disappointed by it just being chips , cheese and gravy ! It was not cheese curds as it should be. False advertising.
There is a great chill out area at the back with a fireplace and grand leather couches !!! And also it's a theatre , well I most certainly will be back here. WILL YOU?
The food is delicious, the atmosphere is lively , friendly staff and great beers ! Can’t fault it! Highly recommended!!
Very good Sunday Roast , quality food! Nice atmosphere and good music .
Screens both indoors and outdoors for the World Cup , all games shown and special hog roasts during England games
Cozy atmosphere and good cider always worth its name.
Very nice Pub . Check the theater upstairs
Sierra Nevada tap takeover when I was here made it feel like home.
Great pub with a lovely little studio theatre upstairs. Good range of summer drinks and decent food.
Price a little above average, but still affordable and totally worth it for the delicious food.
Old Victorian pub . Cool Hang out place. Chill on a Friday night!
The barmen loox like Gnarles Barkley .. The resemblance is just unbelievable!
My local pub ! Great atmosphere!
Turfed out of my seat by staff , for folk who reserved a table and turned up late. If you reserve at 19:30 don't then turn up 2hrs late. Staff colluded with this poor social conduct. Not impressed!
The martini was watery, the fish kinda tasteless, the chips good, the poached egg on avocado toast good though the 'avocado was taste-free too. Good service and great to have the theater upstairs .
Sunday matinee 3pm (free). Theatre (7.30pm) upstairs every night.
Great pub . Good decor and atmosphere
After Anglesea
Saturday night not a good choice if you want to get served.
They have a strange policy to not sell alcoholic drinks to those without British identififation, i.e. foreigners. Disappointing in this day and age.
Gorgeous and delightful.
Great pub . Recommended.
Sunday Roast : terrible food, poor service. Don't bother.
Good gastropub. Ideal for Sunday roast. Varied offer of beers and nice food. Fish and chips are great and good quality. - Nani
Really good Sunday lunch, fillet cod is brilliant, get 50% off with taste card! - Jo N
Perfect Sunday hangout. Great selection of ales. Large portion of chips (£5.50) is enormous and delicious. Only serve roasts on Sundays. - Douglas Maitland
The serrano ham croquettes and octopus dishes ROCK! Great cava too :) - Laura Roberts
Very tasty comfort Indian food! Great food and not as pretentious or expensive as the other Indian restaurants in the area. - Zack Sheppard
