Celebrated my engagement here. Impeccable service and am amazing atmosphere makes Morimoto one of the best Japanese restaraunts on the island . The sashimi appetizer was by itself quite memorable.
Toro Tartare , Octopus Carpaccio , Tempura Calamari Salad , Pork Gyoza , Ishi Yaki Buri Bop, A-5 Wagyu (1 oz per person). Fillers - Ramen , Clam Miso Soup , Green Beans , Broccoli , assorted sushi and rolls.
Outstanding food, hands down the best meal I had in Maui. The wagyu is worth trying once despite the price! Everything I tries here was delicious and service was great.
Try the rockfish appetizer . If you like sushi , the chef selection was delicious. I feel like Morimoto can either be a very reasonable dinner , or your most expensive on Maui! Highly recommend to all.
Sticky ribs out of this world Server David had great recommendations including our trip to crater Other food was we ordered was delicious (especially chocolate banana ball) nothing beats the ribs
The Omasake is a must-do for the slightly adventurous. Each course kept shocking us with its innovative ways to be eaten, and flavors. Definitely will leave you very full and satisfied.
There's a long sushi-sashimi menu, and the fish is the freshest. The tuna pizza is scrumptious; the fresh fish , steak , and lobster dishes are big enough to share. Read more
The wagyo beef sushi is a must try despite that you get one piece only for $8. Sashimi can't get more fresh. Spicy salmon roll is yummy
Sushi and sashimi is out of this world! Delicious food and friendly staff . $50 sashimi platter featured in the photo!
Outstanding food, hands down the best meal I had in Maui. The wagyu is worth trying once despite the price! Everything I tried here was delicious and service was great.
Try the toro (prized fatty tuna ) tartare ! It's tasty and fun to try all the different combinations of flavors you can make.
So overpriced without the service or food quality to match. There were great moments in our omakase (A5, signature tataki) but overwhelmingly underwhelming. Would not recommend or return
You absolutely must get the sashimi appetizer . P.S. Great place to celebrate getting engaged :)
The yellowfin cooked in the stone bowl is amazing as well as the sushi .
Best location for whale watching and sushi . Try the pork dumplings with bacon foam. Tell Heidi the bartender hello!! She is amazing
Ask for Saporo draft ! Then toro tuna tartare , rock shrimp & wagiu steak !!! Perfect!!!
Wonderful wonderful wonderful dining experience. Beautiful food, ambience and especially the service!
If you're feeling spendy, and are not vegetarian , the omakase is just excellent.
The Tuna Pizza is unique and amazing!!! The spicy yellowtail is the freshest I’ve ever had—incredible!! ???? ????
Omakase OMG ! So many amazing flavors and sensations in just a few hours.
Food was delicious and so lovely to look at. The gyoza is an absolute must. Very underwhelmed and disappointed by the service I received, however.
Ask for a table outside to enjoy the fabulous view of Ulua beach and the sunset !
The food is fantastic! There wasn't one dish that I didn't enjoy,it was all delicious.
Waygu beef , gyoza , & green tea noodles for lunch . Road to matcha for dessert-sooo good!
Sushi with a view . Grab a spot by the bar for cocktails & sushi .
Our waiter recommended all the great tasters but also made sure I wouldn’t be afflicted by my food allergies
Skip the weaker sushi , sashimi , and tartare dishes and focused on the composed plates from the kitchen.
Do the omakase . Totally worth it. Everything was perfect.
Great bar in the back to watch the sunset .
Completely inaccessible to those not able-bodied. Tons of stairs. Wet, winding ramp. No direct access from elevator . Only option is to wait for a golf cart- if someone decides to get around to it.
Sake flight, tuna pizza , octopus carpaccio , spicy king crab...do it!
On NYE you can reserve a table at the restaurant then get a wristband for the NYE party at the Andaz to watch the fireworks
Omakase changes every time you come back
Excellent sunset views from the open air section and bar area.
Nobu is nothing compare to Morimoto. Food was incredible and great view
Deliciouso! Extra bonus Chef Morimoto was in the house! Toro amazing.
Best sushi on maui and not only sushi
Get the local moi sushi if they have it!! Not on menu.
I recommend the sticky ribs .
The Hamachi Tacos were a delicious starter.
The pork gyozas are to die for
Omakase is the way to go!
Try the soft shell crab appetizer , amazing.
Omakase OMG . Do it.
Ok sushi at resort prices.
Don't miss the Omakase tasting menu ...
The Omakase is worth every penny
Calamari salad is a must!
Get the calamari salad !
This food was amazing: I recommend the bigeye ahi, and the strawberry and passion fruit chiffon cake. The virgin Pina Colada Lava was fantastic as well. Breakfast buffet had everything imaginable. - J
The ahi poke and lobster grilled cheese are amazing. - Bo Nam
Alex and the crew at the pools are awesome! Top notch service!! - Tracey Ireland
Then scallops and shrimp were to die for. Paired with a creamy polenta and crunchy pumpkin topping it was the perfect textures and flavors. Best meal I’ve ever had! - Emily Kay
