Really disorganised when trying to pick up your ticket and your prepaid popcorn . Have to line up three times just to self serve yourself a ticket, get your prepaid popcorn and enter the cinema .

Gold Class bar and cinemas bring the movie experience to a whole new level. Get food and drinks delivered at the beginning, middle or end of the movie - or all 3!

While conveniently located close to the Town Hall station, the interiors are dated and could do with an overhaul.

Now a 4DX cinema showing films with special effects like chair movements, wind, water, fog, and scents. Can get chilly with the wind - so bring a jacket !

Cinema 4 has a strange layout - it's very deep and the angle of inclination of the tiered seating is quite shallow. Choose seats in the middle rows (in front of the entrance).

When they insist u print out ur ticket, persist & show them where it says you can just show it on your smartphone. Even then, keep persisting as one of them read it & STILL insisted we print it out..

Catch a movie here and get a free stench in the cinema . If you insist on choosing this place, do grab some popcorns because it will be extremely useful as an air freshener.

My "allocated" seat was soaked with soft drink (at least I hope that's what it was) and the cinema was full of rubbish from the previous session. Really eVent Cinemas? It's that hard?

Have to book online a week before to see anything big in the first two weeks or you turn up to find no seats left. Always heaps of people on their phones through the whole damn movie . Go to Broadway.

Try the new boutique cinema . However there are not a lot of toilets . Definitely go before your movie

The cinema theater is conveniently located near town hall . You still need to get your paper tickets even though you have purchased it online.

Buy a movie money booklet of 10 and use some for the movie you're watching. They're valid for 6 months, and save you around $6 per ticket

For better eating choices, go pass the cinema on george st side and you should see a blackish building that has numerous asian restaurants

The cinema in Sydney I feel like I'm most likely to get stabbed in. Definitely avoid on Sat night for your unfair share of steroid filled alpha male youth

Vmax and 4DX is outstanding. Smaller cinemas however are increasingly rundown and need a refresh!

Pay for the Gold class upgrade - the main cinemas smell like Aunt Mavis spilt her bed pan.

We just watched Avatar 3d in the large "Vmax" cinema - sat in Row S 7-8-9 seats. Recommend these as they are toward the read yet near the stairs. Huge screen so, like IMAX, best to sit back.

Avoid bathrooms on first and second floor outside the theaters. Instead use the toilets in the Gold Class bar and cafe on second floor. Much cleaner.

Must see 'The Cup', great fun and great for tears in the eye, whether from being happy or sad :-) Support Australian films !

Some cinema rooms are really long, choose your place wisely. It is not nice to see a movie far far away. And do not forget the air condition :-)

Ask to choose your seats they won't ask you to choose it

Don't forget to validate your parking ticket when collecting your tickets. Parking can get very expensive ! Validation gives you 3 hours from carpark entry.

Epic fail - Sunday afternoon & there's ONE person serving in the candy store , queue length nearly rivals the massive queue for tickets!

New gold class menu is sensational. Sliders , awesome! New cocktails even better.

Buy your tickets online. Avoid the queue and pick your own seat.

Use the online Event cinema app to see configuration of cinema and which seats you want.

VMAX 1 and 2 are great. The rest are poky.

10am on a Sat and two staff on the counter and 25 people waiting to buy tickets! Good start. And then they don't dim the lights in the cinema , which is really annoying.

$5.20 for a small bottle of water! Who let that happen?

Arrive 20 minutes late so you don't have to sit through shitty ads! People winder why people pirate movies !!

Come here to watch pictures places onto a screen at 24 pictures a second with an aural soundtrack.

Place is a rip off unless you've got discounts ;) Telstra $10 tix. Can buy em on ur phone and u don't have to queue.

Do yourself a favour, skip the long queue and buy your tickets from the Candy Bar .

Make sure your film is in a Vmax theatre , it will be a much more enjoyable experience .

They have macaroons and cupcakes here now, taste okay.. :)

If the lines are too long, you can purchase your ticket at the candy bar ...
