A favorite for the fresh fish and sizzling scene. Don't miss Wang's, the tiny lounge next door where the bartenders garnish martinis with fresh slices of ginger and orchids plucked from vases. Read more

What we love even more than the hip setting, super fresh sashimi and inventive, colorful rolls is how damn affordable it is. Grab a ginger martini at super cool Wang's next door. [Eater 38 Member]

The sushi is definitely among the best in the city and the presentation makes it just as appetizing ! Don't get anything else though... Who serves grilled chicken wrapped in foil? Very homemade ...

Asude Zeynep Daniş

Everything is fresh and delicious????

Carlos Echeverria

Speciality rolls are great and their smeared tuna in wasabi sauce was awesome! Flirting cocktails from Wang next door.

Yellowtail ceviche was out of this world. Would also recommend the Moby Dick signature roll.

Fantastic shrimp/prawn hibachi . Give it a shot, or another hibachi choice.

Hannah Segall

Great, fresh sushi ! They have a drink menu, but you can BYOB with an $8 corkage fee .

Lee Cohen

Get the Peter Parker roll. It's worth the try if you love sushi and especially soft shell crab .

Chad C

Excellent sushi ! Try the grilled chicken if you got a picky eater.

Andrew Burch

Freshest sushi in Chicago, and grab a ginger or pear martini !

pinsuda sagooleim

Mouthwatering apps - red snapper sashimi with truffle oil and steamed sea bass with black bean & ginger . You'll regret it if you skip these. Read more

The service tonight was absolutely amazing. I was worried based on previous tips but they were very amazing!

Alison

Excellent sushi / sashimi combo orders. Uni sashimi in a cucumber is delicious !

Everything here is good, but the Godzilla roll is to die for.

Sydney Williams

Jalapeño miso soup . Enjoy!

Micah Taupule

The Geisha and the Maki Mexicano Roll are really good!

Renato Leonel

Personally I found out that I really don't like Japanese food . Also, the prices are very high in this restaurant .

David Smith

Mexicano roll is delicious.

Jake Williams

Hands down, favorite sushi in Lakeview.

James Lollis

I was not impressed. These folks take themselves and their food a little too seriously. Relax and stop being so stuck up with the food.

Harlen Fleming

Sushi and bento boxes

Justine G.

Best sushi I've had.

Ludovic D'auria

Lobster rolls are delicious

Renee Dreznes

Get the ginger martini .

Rebecca Denison

Wait staff not the friendliest, but sushi is unreal! Kani Chung or Godzilla are best!!

Ryan Cybulski

Byob is $8 a bottle!

Katie Campbell

Do NOT go here late. They practically kicked us out before the food even came. Plus it was ridiculously expensive . Not coming back which is unfortunate because I like the ambience.

Priya Vaswani

Get the Maine Lobster roll !

Jack K

Try the Wakamono Roll, I mean they named the restaurant after it...delicious.

Jordan Bouvier

The salad roll is my new all-time favorite.

Jason Klinman

Great place! Try the Seven Sisters white wine blend

Lauren Cantalini

Loved the Kani Chung roll but our server was incredibly rude.

Jared Novack

Little pricy , make sure you get the desert though: the lava cake rocks

Leeann

Don't try to pilfer the animal sculptures . Some drunken fool did, and the entire waitstaff exited to char after him. No service for a full 20 min.

Leigh J H

The jalapeno miso soup is perfect...spicy, salty, and delicious.

RoRo aka Godzirra

BEWARE: for a group of 4 or more, they add 20% tip, based on the grand total, instead of the subtotal. Also, they charge for every extra small sauce you ask for. AND they're rude when you bring it up!

Margot Chapman

Excellent - local neighborhood sushi

Deb Song

Tuna tartare !

Bradley Spear

Enjoy some sushi .... EXCELLENT Dragon Rolls ! Read more

Laura Oldham

Not at all impressed with the waitstaff . For a $6 per bottle corkage fee I would hope they'd be a little more respectful we requested wine .

Evan Orr

godzilla roll . 'nuff said.
