I always get the Enchiladas Gabby, a margarita and the flan . Can't beat the combination. If you're feeling up for two desserts , get the bread pudding . All of appetizers are awesome too!

Best chicken mole EVER. Pozole soup is also very delicious. Salsa is nice and spicy ! Bread pudding is to die for. Restaurant staff was friendly . The owner told wonderful stories. Definitely recommend.

This isn't all that awesome as some of the tips lead me to believe. It's definitely a place where the gringos frequent. It reminds me of a neighborhood version of Chuys.

The chili relleno served at Avila's made this year's 100 Favorite dishes because the kitchen leaves the pepper naked instead of breading it. Watch out for that salsa -- it packs a punch.

The food was good but had Better Mexican. Simple menu with the usual Tex-mex fair . Has a Parking lot ,not expensive food. The flan is must. One bathroom is no good. Very touristy place. Nothing special

The picante sauce that came with the chips was a tad spicier than i expected. Yummy though. Had the fish tacos . Very good!

Ignore Wayne's tip. This is hands down the best Mexican in Dallas. Not even debatable. Maybe the best mole sauce on Earth.

Get the fish tacos on corn tortillas with a side of veggies instead of rice . Amazing!

Don't sleep on the sour cream enchiladas either. Oh, and watch out for the salsa . It will light you up.

Mom is not a huge bread pudding fan, but this place made her a believer! PHENOMINAL!! Out of this world good!
