Top of Mt. Takao

It is okay, You will find the pedestrian access about an hour from Shinjuku Station on the Keio Line to Takao-san Guchi at the end of the line .

Crowded on weekends but orderly. The view of Tokyo and Mt Fuji on a clear day is worth the 90 mins easy hike up! Have a picnic or grab a hot bowl of soba here.

It's a very nice mountain to climb, the chair lift is fun! Please check the weather as some routes not too safe. Some of the routes are hard to find. Recommend pilgrim route up and nature route down.

Hiking to the top and taking the cable car back down is any hiker's dream! A must go for any hikers! Do you have the legs of steel to climb up and going back down this mountain ? :D

Beautiful walk up the mountain , fresh dango along the way, and a wonderful view of Mt Fuji from the top.

Small mountain outside of Tokyo. Good for a day hike or trail run. On a clear day you can see Fuji.

Taking the 4th trail down on a warm sunny day won’t be as hot. Lots of shade. Only caveat is the path isn’t paved and it can get a little muddy.

Love to visit on sunny day, getting lifts it only takes less than 1 hour to reach top of Mt. Takao! Don’t miss it.

You can go to different directions from there.

Take the cable car up and chair lift down :) get the experience of both.

It was okay. I like that they had a few different routes u could take. Really didn't enjoy the cable cart but it's better than walking I guess...

Really much too crowded on weekends. Concrete path. And despite fine weather Fuji wasn’t visible. Not enjoyable at all

東京スカイツリーより低い山 の登頂に成功。とにかく綺麗 に整備されちまっている。

標高は559.3mと低山 もいいところなのだが、コース がたくさんあり、組み合わせが出来るのであきない。ただ、休日は混み合う。

新年第一日来此可见日出富士。可惜我3号才来，有幸也能见到富士。一切都刚刚好。

DocomoはFOMAハイスピードが最強で入ります。6号路から行くと1時間半程度でつきました。

登りは稲荷山コース →枝の節や階段のアップダウン多いが一気に山頂 まで行けるのでよかった。。雨の下りなどは滑りそう。下りは一号路→道は舗装されてるけど勾配がきつい。明日膝にくるだろう…

さぶちゃんは常連らしい

稲荷山コース に次いで6号路もラストが板階段になってしまった。（登山数増加で山道保護の為には仕方ないのか…）

休日でも朝9時ごろは空いてるので、人混み を避けたい場合は早めに来ると良いです

さすがミシュラン星付き。山頂 でもお店があるので食べて飲めます。

山頂 からの富士山はとても綺麗 です。

売店も多くあります。ここまでなら、手ぶらで来れますね

歩いた後の眺めはご褒美。山頂 と言ってもゆっくりできるのでお弁当 でも食べましょう

山頂 がいまいち分からなかった！でも下山ルート は4号、2号ルート はつり橋、滝 ありで良かったです。

薬王院ルート は階段が多くて大変。吊り橋 はしょぼい。

山頂 からの雪の被った富士山は見事です。

とても景色 が良いのでオススメ

人混み を避けて朝早く出掛けるのもいいが、夕方に行って富士山に夕陽が沈むのを眺めるのもオススメ。

朝6時半に駅についたらガラガラ 6号路をゆっくり上がってきました。鳥の鳴き声が楽しめます

売店があるよ。トイレもあるよ。自販機は少しお値段高いよ。

シーズン中の休日は大変に混むので、奥高尾まで足を延ばした方が得策。要軽登山装備。

のんびり登れる登山道 がいくつかあって、オススメです。

山頂 は激混み、そこから30分くらいの一丁平がおすすめ。

すごい人混み ですが、暑い日に頂上で飲むビール は最高でした。

iPhone(ソフトバンク )は山頂 を少し城山方面に降りたところが電波が良い！

時間にもよりますが富士山、ランドマーク タワーが眼下に見えます。

展望台 から見れる夕日はとても綺麗 です。

ソフトバンク の場合、頂上は圏外ですが紅葉 台側に少し下ると電波が入ります。

新築二階建ての木 の香りのする水洗トイレです。無料。

auの電波強度は良好です。

山頂 だけau, docomoとも電波来てるらしい。ただしLTEは無し。

ソフトバンク の電波、バリバリ入ってました。

6号路でやってきました。

富士山がきれいにみえました。
