Cirque Royal / Koninklijk Circus

A beautiful circular venue with seats on different levels. They program intimate concerts by bands like Tindersticks, Mark Lanegan ... and sometimes even ballets . The Royal Suite is next to the PA.

Be on time to find your seat (looking for even/uneven numbers in the dark is a drag) and if you're standing on the front row; don't put your things onthe scene (security's really sensitive about that)

What a great venue! You can be seated or standing in front of the stage. Good acoustics and access to bar and restrooms .

Great venue. Great sound. Great view . Every seat is a great seat.

Great Hall for concerts .. Not the best sound if seating on the top seats.. Good view from everywhere..

Great Venue, can take drinks into the circle with you - can get very warm!

Good selection of bands and the venue inside is majestic but not very functional: Difficult to find a seat in the dark if late, not functional bar and having to pay to visit the WC.

Bar queues very inefficient : one queue to pay, then one to get drinks. Tip : prepay multiple orders (insist on each one being printed on its individual ticket)

L'Elixir d'Amore was an interesting performance , opera adapted for non-opera acquainted. The location was nice but the leg space is rather limited though

Nice room. Silly booking policy they seem to have though, obviously the mid-level tickets are overpriced as only the expensive and extremely cheap seats were busy/booked

Very weird seeing a lot of people sit down when you're supposed to dance . Get off your lazy butts!
