Elisabet Ney Museum

Tucked in Hyde Park neighborhood , Elisabet Ney Museum is an older Austin home built by a famed sculptor . You learn the history of Austin and some art history at the same time!

It is underrated and under-talked about museum in Austin. You can learn alot of history and the surrounding environment is great.

The 3M Half Marathon & Relay runs by the Ney Museum every January. It is the former studio of 19th-century sculptor Elisabet Ney and one of the oldest museums in Texas .
