The little sun bread is a great treat to share goes great with coffee . Simple, yet beautifully baked pastry without overdoing it like many pastry places in Shanghai. Wifey approves.
Great food. The place is perfect for breakfast or brunch . The menu is big and the bread variety of their own bakery is very motivating to get up on a weekend morning! I highly recommend it!
Always love to have a light meal at sunflour. The croissant and eclair also the strawberry tart is my favorite sweet! As for their sunflour salad is delicious too! Carbonara here is too creamy though!
Okay, they close at 10pm, but at 9pm asked 4 people who were in line to leave without ordering because they want to close early tonight. What?! ????
At sunflour you can taste fantastic croissants and have a delicious breakfast. Then don't miss to have a stroll in the area, one of the most beautiful in Shanghai.
Brunch at this lovely cafe . Try the chocolate eclair and apple tart , they are good! After 7.30pm, all bread are 15% off.
Very good raisin Danish and because it was the end of the day they gave us quite a few free pastries to take away with us! Prices were reasonable.
Good place to get some fuel after the Propaganda Museum . Great looking desserts and pastry but way to crowded and loud to enjoy some peaceful coffee .
Love its fresh juice , illy coffee , and nice brunch set. Also the atmosphere is nice too!
This authentic cafe and bakery offers tantalising baked treats . The macaroons , eclairs and tarts are the genuine article. The organic eggs with toast (35RMB) make for a filling, tasty start. Read more
Update: ain't bad for dinner . Reasonable prices for solid food.
Super crowed place, often have to wait and the service is a bit slow but it's often full so ... The continental breakfast is classic.(Check reviews, wechat: shanghai_hunter and facebook)
A lot of people love this place, but I find all the baked goods over priced and overly dry. Go to Baker and Spice a little further down Anfu road instead.
Best Bread in Shanghai! Genuine baguette ; like in France. They have good salads for lunch .
Buy a loaf of Japanese Danish bread , bring it home, toast it. Each slice tastes exactly like a croissant but functions like sliced bread !
Food is great and the portion is generous, but not a place to chill out . The music is as bad as teenagers' self-indulgent playlists. The tables are so close to each other that no hygiene and privacy.
The deals for brunch are great. Nice place for a Sunday morning brunch !
The mini pain au chocolat is the perfect size for afternoon tea , dessert , AND everything in between!
So much deliciousness to choose from. Fruit juices are fresh and tasty.
great stop for sandwich/salad, always packed though. they make you pay upfront before you get your meal and they take orders on their iphones!
The bread , brunch menu and cakes are generally very good, but I'm very disappointed by the small latte , no flavour and drowned by milk . I sadly won't come back for coffee again. Back to Seesaw.
Get the continental breakfast - it's big and delicious!
Cakes are quite excellent, apple tart , Tiramisu , ... Coffee also good, nice address.
Brunch is delicious!!!! :) always full of people which helps keeping everything fresh!
Proper baguettes , decent salads , good coffee , girls taking selfies with their bread ... What more do you want?!
Lemon tart , yummy! Mint chocolate coffee frappe , deeeelicious!
Everything is good! The best bakery in shanghai
Very busy during lunch hours but got a good offering of bread and coffee
Really nice bakery . Strange about sitting in other sections during quiet mornings, but generally ok staff .
Eclaire excellent the best in town
Good for brunch ! Great selection of bread and pastries !
Great quality salads and sandwiches . Awesome breads but only so-so pastries . Great service!
Continental Breakfast is quite pricy for the size of dish. No coffee included. Just better stick to the pastries and delicious éclair .
A bit too busy for my taste and the 'order at the counter' concept also doesn't speak to me, but their stuff tastes good!
Waitresses mainly beginners. Can't speak English well . Food is really delicious.
Bread - good. Service-average. Coffee - Blah. free wifi - good
Croissant : good but not exceptional. Tuna Salad : good but dressing is too thick. Cappuccino : good (get a small one). Coffee Eclair : Skip it. Not as good as it looks, its cream is not tasty.
Get the French walnut bread ! Amazing just on its own
You wont find better bread than this in China! I tried almost everything, all good!
A very good lemon tart . Something that leaves your taste buds screaming for more...
Very nice and friendly staff . Try mango lover
Great bakery , breakfast and service!
@Tom; if the burger is cold, just tell them, they'll compensate you - they have very good service for a new company.
They serve Organic pasta !
breakfast is good
Used to go there occasionally for breakfast. However, after renovation only the continental was available and no more complimentary coffee to go with it. So yea. Overpriced and service was terrible.
Queuing at the counter is jut for take-away orders. Take a seat and order from a waiter .
Very nice, friendly and helpful staff :)
Great breads
@Josh; you are a lying, no. 1 there is no sunflower bread , no. 2 the bread shaped like a flower is a walnutbread. Do you work at a competing bakery ?@ Sam; it's obvious you work at Bake and Spice.
Best place for afternoon break or quick lunch. Try the roasted pumpkin sandwich. - Irene C.
Excellent breads and pastries. Shakshoukah (sp?) is fantastic. Good wifi and plenty of outdoor seating for warm weather. - Marcella Caprario
Tuna, egg baguette was super fresh. Hot chocolate is to die for. Super thick and creamy, but also super sweet.. perfect for those with a sweet tooth. RMB90 for those two items, a tad expensive. - Melissa Collins
The 2010 ACT Festival in Shanghai, an annual celebration of contemporary theater art, will stage here from Nov 6 to Dec 2, and features 14 productions from home and abroad. - China Daily USA
