It's probably my favourite pub in the area but it gets busy and if there's only 2 of you it's hard to find somewhere to sit. If you stop by on a quiet afternoon you'll be rewarded.
Traditional boozer with nice selection of locals beers and one or two guest ales . Obviously ciders are also in stock
Good, traditional pub . Can get quite studenty in term time. Meat nachos are really good.

The chilli nachos are amazing, as is the Stilton burger . Good selection of ales and a nice beer garden .
